FABRIC Reunion

Back in February 2024, I attended a camp in Taiwan. Since then, the FABRIC alumni community has become one of the most important and influential groups of my life.

This year, I was part of the organising team for the annual FABRIC Reunion. It took us two intense months of preparation to make it happen.

It was a blast to spend a few incredible days with old friends and make some new ones! Some people I haven't seen since February 2024, so it was really special to catch up.

The event included participant-led workshops, outdoor walks, and good conversations. We carved pumpkins and blew them up with thermite, went on 3-hour-long puzzle hunts, made ice cream with liquid nitrogen, made dozens of polaroids, and so much more.

I was responsible for the schedule of the days, and some of the quirks and vibes. I also led a dance-related workshop.

Overall, it was an incredible experience. I now have more faith in my organisational skills and some wisdom about social gatherings. Shout out to my lovely co-organisers and all the participants for making it so special!
